Has anyone thought of using a vintage 50mm auto-focused installed disposable camera that can only take 25-36 film shots in a single roll, and costs only on average $10 SGD? Why buy that when you have a digital camera and have the photos ready to further develop in the computer, instead of buying over and over the same film camera and develop it for another $6 SGD on average? I wanted to do a challenge to create powerful portrait photography with a very low-quality lens film camera and in applying my knowledge to this film camera. I wanted to not only try this challenge but also better understand lighting in an auto-focused camera that is similar to smartphone cameras which use distance and auto-focus. Film photography is the fundamentals for photography, and I wanted to go through the basics of photography all the way from bottom to the top. As I went through the military, I have taken my time to study photography in the fundamentals and application of basic art to it.
